About the Founder

Dr. Xiaowei Xu is an internationally recognized leader in artificial intelligence research, with groundbreaking contributions in large language models and causal inference. He is a Professor at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR), where he founded and directed the pioneering AI and Language Research Lab.

Dr. Xu has developed innovative techniques to customize large language models for reliable, specialized performance across healthcare, law, and pharmacovigilance domains. His methods enable safe and controlled text generation via model alignment, prompt engineering, and constrained synthesis. This work also powers domain-tailored applications from entity resolution to drug safety analysis.

Dr. Xu pioneered DeepCausality in causal AI, combining large language models, deep learning, and Bayesian networks.
